NHL: Phoenix 2, Chicago 2 (OT)

CHICAGO, March 21 (UPI) -- Mike Comrie scored a power-play goal with 9:57 left in the third period Sunday as the Phoenix Coyotes rallied for a 2-2 tie with the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Coyotes had its winless streak extended to 15 games but overcame a two-goal deficit and had most of the scoring chances in overtime.

Former Blackhawks first-round draft pick Dan Cleary started the comeback midway through the second period with a shorthanded goal.

Comrie scored his sixth goal in nine games after Cleary found him alone at the edge of the crease.

Phoenix had nine shots in overtime, spending most of it in the Chicago zone. But the Coyotes could not convert three odd-man rushes and fell to 0-8-5-3 since Feb. 20.

Chicago's Tyler Arnason set up Eric Daze's power-play tally 7:53 into the contest and scoring his 21st goal at 5:02 of the second.
