Cowboys owner says Keyshawn deal is done

IRVING, Texas, March 18 (UPI) -- Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Thursday he had worked out a deal with Tampa Bay that will bring receiver Keyshawn Johnson to Texas.

Earlier in the day, NFL officials informed the Cowboys that their plans to bring quarterback Drew Henson to Dallas had been approved.

The Cowboys have been trying to formulate a deal for weeks that would send receiver Joey Galloway to Tampa Bay in exchange for Johnson.

Johnson had already agreed to a four-year contract, but Galloway had been unable to work out an agreement with Tampa Bay. Jones said that hurdle had been overcome, although there was no immediate word as to the details.

Although the NFL did not announce it had approved Henson's acquisition from the Houston Texans, Jones said the club had received word.
