COL BKB: Oklahoma St 76, Texas 67

STILLWATER, Okla., March 1 (UPI) -- Tony Allen scored 21 points Monday as No. 7 Oklahoma State beat No. 10 Texas, 76-67, for top seed in the Big 12 Conference tournament.

Oklahoma State (23-3, 13-2 Big 12) secured its first regular-season title since 1991. A win over Texas A&M on Saturday would give the Cowboys their first outright crown since 1965.

A layup by Joey Graham, who scored 18 points, gave Oklahoma State a 71-67 lead.

Jason Klotz scored a career-high 18 points for the Longhorns (22-4, 12-3).
