NHL: Edmonton 4, Vancouver 3 (OT)

EDMONTON, Alberta, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Defenseman Eric Brewer knocked in a shot off the crossbar Saturday to give Edmonton a 4-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks in overtime.

The goal was set up by Ryan Smyth, who had two other assists in the game.

The win was Edmonton's fourth straight at home and Vancouver has lost five of its last six.

Adam Oates, Fernando Pisani and Ales Hemsky also scored for the Oilers.
