NHL: Anaheim 3, Columbus 1

ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Vaclav Prospal scored the go-ahead goal with 1:49 remaining Wednesday night, boosting Anaheim to a 3-1 victory over Columbus.

It was the sixth straight home win for the Mighty Ducks.

Sergei Fedorov added an empty-net goal with six seconds to play as Anaheim improved its home record to 14-7-6-3. Columbus is winless in its last eight road games (0-5-3).

Geoff Sanderson gave Columbus the lead 5:55 into the first period, but Cam Severson tied it just past the midway mark of the period by tipping in a shot by Jason Krog.

Anaheim outshot Columbus, 32-18.
