SPOKANE, Wash., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Ronny Turiaf scored 19 points Wednesday night as sixth-ranked Gonzaga won its school-record 15th straight game, a 79-69 victory over Portland.

The latest win came on the night the Bulldogs retired John Stockton's No. 12 jersey at halftime. Stockton is the most famous player to ever come out of the school and is the NBA's all-time leader in assists.

Stockton watched his alma mater score the game's first 12 points and race to a 44-29 lead.

Blake Stepp, who moved ahead of Stockton into second place on the school's all-time assist list earlier this season, added 13 points for Gonzaga (22-2, 12-0 WCC), which already has wrapped up the conference regular-season title.
