COL BKB: Colorado 85, Texas Tech 75

BOULDER, Colo., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- David Harrison scored 24 points and Michel Morandais added 22 Wednesday night to lead Colorado past No. 23 Texas Tech, 85-75.

Colorado (14-8 overall, 6-5 Big 12) has won seven straight games at home. The Buffaloes led by at least four points throughout the second half and their lead reached as much as 11.

Texas Tech (18-7, 6-5) has lost four straight games on the road and five of seven overall. Andre Emmett, the Big 12's leading scorer, was held five points below his average with 16.

Harrison helped the Buffaloes to a 49-43 halftime advantage by scoring 17 of his 24 points. The 7-foot junior center also collected 10 rebounds and a season-high seven blocks.

The struggling Red Raiders were led by Devonne Giles, who set career highs with 18 points and 18 rebounds.
