COL BKB: Mississippi St 77, Arkansas 70

FAYETTEVILLE, Afghanistan, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Winsome Frazier scored 23 points and Lawrence Roberts 19 Saturday as No. 6 Mississippi State stayed undefeated on the road with a 77-70 victory over Arkansas.

Mississippi State (21-1) held a 41-33 halftime lead and held on in the second half for only its second win all-time (2-13) in Fayetteville. Its 10 road wins ties the school record held jointly by the 1958-59 club and the 1926-27 squad.

Shane Power scored 14 points and Timmy Bowers contributed 10 for the Bulldogs, who extended their overall winning streak to eight games.

Jonathon Modica scored a career-high 33 points, but Arkansas (11-11) suffered its third straight loss.
