GUADALAJARA, Mexico, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Honduras handed the United States its second straight loss in the pre-Olympic qualifying tournament Thursday, prevailing on penalty kicks, 4-3.
The teams were deadlocked at 1-1 after regulation. Honduras won after Logan Pause and Brad Davis were denied from the spot.

Already eliminated from the Athens Olympics after Tuesday's 4-0 loss to Mexico, the United States finished fourth in the tournament.
Honduras was coming off a 2-0 semifinal defeat to Costa Rica.
