DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- NASCAR named R. Todd Wilson its new chief financial officer Tuesday in a move it hopes enhances the racing giant's business leadership.
Wilson will serve as NASCAR's highst-ranking financial officer, overseeing all financial issues affecting the sanctioning body. He will report directly to NASCAR CEO Brian France.

The 41-year-old Wilson will continue to serve as CFO of NASCAR Broadcasting and NASCAR Digital Entertainment, two of his most recent responsibilities. He also had been CFO of NASCAR Images and assistant treasurer of NASCAR.
A NASCAR employee since 1999, Wilson had a 14-year career in public accounting.
