WASHINGTON, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Markus Naslund and Trevor Linden each had a goal and an assist Saturday as Vancouver scored four times with the man advantage during a 6-1 rout of Washington.

Coming off consecutive two-goal efforts, Magnus Arvedson suffered an apparent right knee injury late in the first period and did not return. But the Canucks scored five times in the final two periods.

Brad May and Roert Lang traded goals in the first 76 seconds of the game, which remained even until Wade Brookbank put Vancouver ahead for good 7:54 into the second with his first NHL tally.

Naslund scored his 29th of the season before collecting his NHL-leading 63rd point by setting up Linden's power-play goal with 41 seconds left in the period.

Jarkko Ruutu tallied 38 seconds later and Sami Salo capped the scoring early in the third for the Canucks, who extended their winning streak to five games.
