PHOENIX, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Josh Langfeld extended his goal-scoring streak to three games Thursday night, pushing Ottawa to a 4-1 victory over Phoenix.

Daniel Alfredsson added a goal and an assist.

Langfeld, who recently has been sent to the minors and called back up, deflected Alfredsson's wrist shot from the blue line past goaltender Brian Boucher midway through the second period to give Ottawa a 2-0 lead.

The tally was the fifth for Langfeld, who entered the season goalless in 13 NHL games.

Tough guy Chris Neil and Jason Spezza beat Boucher before Alfredsson added an empty-netter for the Senators, who have won four of their last five games.
