NBA: Portland 94, Washington 83

WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Damon Stoudamire scored 18 points and Rasheed Wallace and Zach Randolph each added 16 Monday as Portland earned a 94-83 victory over Washington.

Portland lost its first 10 games away from home this season and entered Monday with the worst road record in the NBA at 4-16.

Portland had an 18-point halftime lead but struggled in the second half, managing only 37 points. Rookie Juan Dixon scored 20 of his 30 points in the second half, helping the Wizards pull within 83-80 with 4 1/2 minutes left.

The Trail Blazers had an 85-81 edge before Derek Anderson made a three-pointer with a 1:47 remaining. Dixon missed at the other end and Randolph buried a jumper to put away the game with 78 seconds to go.

Stoudamire made 6-of-8 three-pointers for Portland, which made 11-of-21 shots from the arc.
