NBA: Cleveland 99, Orlando 98

CLEVELAND, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Dajuan Wagner scored 21 points and teenager LeBron James added 16 Monday to lift the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 99-98 victory over the Orlando Magic.

James missed the previous three games with a sprained right ankle and returned as the shooting guard. The rookie was the starting point guard before his injury but Cleveland acquired Jeff McInnis from Portland Saturday and started him at that position Monday.

Tracy McGrady nearly spoiled James' return, tying an NBA record for three-pointers made in a half by shooting 8-of-8 from beyond the arc in the first two quarters and finishing with 36 pointss.

All but two of McGrady's points came in the first half. He left with 6:31 left in the third quarter with a sprained big toe. Carlos Boozer had 23 points and 16 rebounds.

Juwan Howard had 21 points and 13 rebounds while Shammond Williams scored 14 for Orlando.
