ST. LOUIS, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Jere Lehtinen's goal snapped a third-period tie Saturday and gave the Dallas Stars a home-and-home sweep of the St. Louis Blues with a 3-2 triumph.
During a scramble down low, Lehtinen managed to chip the puck between the pads of goaltender Chris Osgood for his seventh goal of the season and second game-winner.
Marty Turco followed Friday's 33-save shutout with another good effort, turning aside 19 shots.
David Oliver scored his second goal in four games and set up Jason Arnott's 12th of the season as Dallas improved to 10-4-4 in its last 18 contests.
The teams combined for four goals in the second. Pavol Demitra got the Blues going at 1:02, but Arnott tied it 12 1/2 minutes later.
Just 69 seconds later, Scott Mellanby put St. Louis back in front but the lead lasted less than three minutes as Oliver answered.
