NBA: Golden State 105, Portland 87

PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson made seven three-pointers and Erick Dampier had 20 rebounds Saturday as Golden State ended a 12-game road slide, 105-87 over Portland.

Golden State had not won on the road since Dec. 17 at Atlanta. In that run was an empty five-game trip and setbacks earlier this week at the Los Angeles Clippers and Seattle. It also had not won in 11 trips to Portland since Jan. 27, 1998.

Led by the outside-inside attack of Richardson and Dampier, the Warriors ended both streaks. En route to 31 points, Richardson made his first seven three-pointers, including a pair on consecutive possessions that gave Golden State a 96-83 lead with 3:48 left.

Dampier had his fourth 20-rebound game of the season and added 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting as he dominated the paint on both ends.

The Warriors limited the Trail Blazers to 35 points in the second half.
