NBA: Cleveland 95, Philaldelphia 87

CLEVELAND, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Eric Williams scored 20 points to lead a balanced attack Saturday as Cleveland built a big lead and held on for a 95-87 victory over Philadelphia.

The Cavaliers played their third straight game without LeBron James, their teenage rookie phenom and leading scorer at better than 20 points per game. They improved to 2-1 without James as five players scored in double figures.

Dajuan Wagner added 17 points off the bench, Carlos Boozer contributed 15 points and 15 rebounds and Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 14 points for the Cavaliers, who led by as many as 20 points in the second quarter and withstood another outburst by Allen Iverson.

Iverson, who has a pair of 50-point games in Cleveland, scored 21 of his 32 points in the third quarter. But he managed just another hoop in the game's final minute as the Sixers lost for the fifth time in six games.
