HKN: Columbus 4, Chicago 3

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Rick Nash became the NHL's first 30-goal scorer this season, tallying twice Saturday as Columbus exacted some revenge with a 4-3 victory over Chicago.

Two nights after he was added to the Western Conference All-Star team, Nash netted his 29th and 30th goals, joining teammate Geoff Sanderson as the only players in Blue Jackets' history to reach that plateau.

Manny Malhotra and Tyler Wright also scored for Columbus, which had a 4-1 lead midway through the third period and held on to improve to 3-1-1 in the last five games. The only loss during that stretch was Thursday's 7-0 pasting at Chicago.

Steve Sullivan had a pair of goals for the Blackhawks, who broke a 50-year-old team record with their 17th consecutive road loss. Chicago has not won on the road since Nov. 7.
