NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Alvin Williams' fallaway jumper in the lane snapped a tie with 17 seconds left in overtime Thursday night, giving Toronto a 78-74 win over New Orleans.

The Raptors overcame the loss of superstar Vince Carter, who injured his right quadriceps with 4:42 left in the first quarter and did not return. He spent the second half on the bench with his leg bandaged.
