CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Shelden Williams scored 21 points Sunday as second-ranked Duke posted its ninth straight win, a 93-71 ACC triumph over Virginia.

The win was the 17th in 19 meetings with Virginia for Duke (12-1), which closed the first half with a 16-8 burst and cruised over the final 20 minutes.

Devin Smith led the Cavaliers (10-3) with 19 points.
