Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

BEREA, Ohio, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- The Cleveland Browns announced Friday Terry Robiskie had been promoted to offensive coordinator.
He replaces Bruce Ariens, who was fired last week by Coach Butch Davis following a 5-11 season.
"Terry was the first person I interviewed for the position of offensive coordinator, and after I continued to talk with other candidates it became very apparent the best person for the job was right here in our building," Davis said.
Robiskie served as the Browns' wide receivers coach the last three years.
The 49-year-old Robiskie spent the previous seven seasons with the Washington Redskins and was the coach for the final three games of the 2000 season following the departure of Norv Turner.
