STILLWATER, Okla., Jan. 6 (UPI) -- John Lucas Jr. keyed an early assault and Tony Allen had 24 points Tuesday as No. 24 Oklahoma State routed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 84-52.
Lucas had eight of his 16 points in the opening six minutes as Oklahoma State (10-1) scored 14 of the game's first 16 points and cruised to its sixth straight win.
After Lucas got the Cowboys off to a quick start, Allen took over. The senior guard made 6-of-7 shots and 10-of-12 free-throw attempts. He and backcourt mate Daniel Bobik consistently found open options Oklahoma State shot 60 percent from the floor.
Stephen Graham had 12 points off the bench for the Cowboys, who were playing their final non-conference game of the regular season.
Travis Bailey had 14 points and Thomas Bailey 12 for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (7-6).
