MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 5 (UPI) -- The Duke women lead their college basketball polls, but the Duke men remain behind Connecticut in the men's coaches' poll, released Monday.
Connecticut (11-1) solidified its hold on the No. 1 ranking with 24 of a possible 31 first-place votes and 757 points.
Duke (10-1) presented Coach Mike Krzyzewski with his 600th coaching win Saturday and received three first-place votes and 727 points.
Fellow Atlantic Coast Conference school Georgia Tech (12-1) was upset by Georgia, 83-80, Saturday and slipped from No. 3 to No. 8.
Arizona (9-1) moved up to No. 3 after presenting Lute Olson with his 700th career win, a 93-74 victory over Arizona State on Saturday.
Wake Forest (9-0) is fourth, followed by Kentucky (9-1), Stanford (11-0), Oklahoma (10-0), Georgia Tech (12-1) and St. Joseph's (11-0). Cincinnati (9-0) rounds out the top 10.
