NHL: Ottawa 3, Boston 0

Prusek made 11 saves in the opening period and nine in the second en route to his second shutout in 11 games this season. He never had one in 19 games prior to this campaign.

Todd White's unassisted goal with 5:33 left in the first period was all the offense needed. White took advantage of a bad bounce off the skate of Boston defenseman Sean O'Donnell and shoveled the puck through his own legs and the pads of goaltender Andrew Raycroft.

Hossa scored his team-leading 16th goal 4:41 into the second period and Antoine Vermette made it 3-0 34 seconds later.

The Bruins were shut out for the fifth time at home this season.
