COL BKB: Wake Forest 91, N.Car. A&T 67

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Eric Williams scored 17 points and Trent Strickland 13 Tuesday as No. 5 Wake Forest beat North Carolina A&T, 91-67.

Having not played since a triple-overtime triumph at North Carolina on Dec. 20, Wake Forest (8-0) looked rusty early and led just 47-40 at the half. The Demon Deacons started the second half by scoring 25 of the first 26 points.

Chris Ellis, son of former NBA star Dale Ellis, made his debut for Wake Forest. Returning from a broken bone in his right foot suffered in the Demon Deacons' first practice on Oct. 18, Ellis was scoreless in 12 minutes.

Wake Forest ran its home winning streak to 21.

Freshman Sean Booker led North Carolina A&T (0-8) with 21 points and Chris Ferguson added 11.
