CHICAGO, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Roger Powell scored 17 points Tuesday as No. 19 Illinois posted a 75-60 victory over Illinois-Chicago.

Illinois (8-2) won its 10th straight game at the United Center, including an 84-61 rout of Arkansas on Dec. 3, and improved to 23-6 overall at the home of the NBA's Chicago Bulls.

James Augustine and Luther Head each chipped in 13 points for Illinois, which has won four straight.

Illinois-Chicago (9-4) lost its second straight on the heels of a three-game winning streak. Cedric Banks, the Flames' leading scorer at 19.6 points, was held to nine.
