EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Damon Stoudamire hit two free throws with 8.4 seconds left Monday as Portland edged New Jersey, 91-87, for its first road win in 11 tries this season.

Rasheed Wallace scored 16 points and Zach Randolph added 14 points and 13 rebounds for Portland, which had lost its previous 13 regular-season road contests since beating Houston on April 8.

New Jersey trailed, 87-78, with 1:19 left before storming within 89-87 on a 3-pointer by Jason Kidd with 10 seconds to play. But Stoudamire, who had scored just four points on 2-of-11 shooting, calmly made the free throws two seconds later to snap the Nets' six-game home winning streak.

Richard Jefferson scored 24 points, Kenyon Martin added 19 and Kidd 13 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for New Jersey.
