NBA: San Antonio 98, Orlando 83

SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan scored 27 points and San Antonio held Orlando to one field goal during the final six minutes Friday night in downing the Magic, 98-83.

Drew Gooden's jumper with 6:34 left pulled Orlando within 83-81, but San Antonio closed the game with a 15-2 run. The Magic did not score again until rookie Zaza Pachulia hit a layup with three seconds remaining.

Duncan scored 47 points in the first meeting between the teams on Dec. 5, when San Antonio began its current streak. He scored 10 points in the first quarter but focused more on rebounding and defense the rest of the way.

The reigning MVP finished with 16 rebounds and blocked five shots. Tony Parker added 22 points and reserve forward Robert Horry had a season-high 14.
