COL BKB: Louisville 80, Austin Peay 63

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Francisco Garcia scored 21 points Saturday afternoon to lead No. 21 Louisville to an 80-63 win over Austin Peay.

The Cardinals now have won five in a row.

Garcia, who recently has had to deal with the death of his brother, continued to keep his focus on the court. He went over 20 points for the fourth straight game and also handed out a career-high eight assists.

Luke Whitehead added 17 points for the Cardinals (5-1), who built a 42-30 lead at halftime and cruised home.

Adrian Henning netted 15 points to lead the Governors (3-5), who lost to the Cardinals for the second straight season, having suffered an 86-64 setback in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
