COL BKB: Florida 70, West Va 57

MIAMI, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Matt Walsh scored 14 of his 17 points in the second half Saturday as No. 13 Florida posted a 70-57 win over West Virginia in the Orange Bowl Classic.

Florida (6-2) entered off back-to-back losses that dropped it from its second top ranking in school history. Walsh had just one basket in the first half as the Gators trailed, 35-29.

West Virginia (5-3) had a three-game winning streak snapped. The Mountaineers upset the Gators last season, 68-66.
