COL BKB: Cincinnati 89, Mid Tenn St 54

CINCINNATI, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Tony Bobbitt scored 15 points Saturday as the 16th-ranked Cincinnati Bearcats posted an 89-54 triumph over Middle Tennessee State.

Cincinnati (6-0) built another huge lead by halftime and coasted to its fifth home victory of the season .

James White, who transferred from Florida last season, came off the bench and had just one free throw in the first half. The 6-7 forward, playing for the first time since March 2002, missed a pair of 3-point attempts before scoring seven first-half points.

Middle Tennessee State (4-3) dropped to 1-3 on the road. Mike Dean led the Blue Raiders with 21 points.
