Theodore injured during pre-game warmups

MONTREAL, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Montreal goaltender Jose Theodore injured his collarbone Thursday night and was taken to a hospital for X-rays.

Theodore suffered the injury during pre-game warmups when he was struck by a shot by Pierre Dagenais. He played the first period against the Nashville Predators, surrendered two goals on just four shots and was replaced by Mathieu Garon.

The 2002 Hart and Vezina Trophy winner, Theodore is tied for second in the league with four shutouts while going 12-11-3 with a 2.21 goals-against average and .925 save percentage.
