NFL: Green Bay 38, San Diego 21

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Brett Favre threw four touchdown passes and Ahman Green and Ryan Longwell also established team records Sunday as Green Bay beat San Diego, 38-21.

Green Bay (8-6) won for the fourth time in five games, tying Minnesota for first place in the NFC North Division with two games left. The Packers also tied Seattle for the second wild card.

With his seven-yard scorng pass to Donald Driver late in the second quarter, Favre set a team record with a TD pass in his 23rd straight game. Favre, a three-time MVP, threw three touchdown passes in under eight minutes in the fourth quarter.

Green broke Jim Taylor's single-season rushing mark. Green rushed for 75 yards, giving him 1,538 on the season -- 64 more than Taylor in 1962.

Longwell surpassed Don Hutson as the all-time leading scorer as five extra points and a field goal gave him 826 career points.
