Hawks suspend disgruntled guard Jackson

ATLANTA, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Atlanta Hawks guard Stephen Jackson, who has been vocal about his displeasure with the struggling squad, Monday was suspended for one game.

Jackson, acquired as a free agent in the offseason after winning a championship with the San Antonio Spurs, will not dress for Tuesday's game with Denver. General Manager Billy Knight indicated that Jackson would be available for Wednesday's game at Memphis.
