GREEN BAY, Wis., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Mike McKenzie scored on a 90-yard interception return as Green Bay beat the Chicago Bears, 34-21.
The Packers forced five turnovers and rallied from an early 14-point deficit.
Brett Favre, making his 186th consecutive start, improved to 20-4 lifetime against Chicago (5-8), but he helped put the Packers in a 14-0 hole as rookie linebacker Lance Briggs returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown in the final minute of the first quarter.
McKenzie returned the favor early in the fourth quarter by matching the fourth-longest interception return in team history. Ahman Green tacked on a two-yard touchdown run, but fell 13 yards short of breaking Jim Taylor's long-standing single-season team rushing record.
Favre was 22-of-33 for 210 yards and the one interception. His 22-yard scoring strike to Javon Walker late in the second quarter gave him touchdown passes in 22 consecutive games.
Ryan Longwell kicked four field goals for Green Bay (7-6), which remained one game behind first-place Minnesota in the NFC Central.
