With seven saves in the first period, eight in the second and 10 in the third, Belfour pulled even with Roy Worters for 11th place on the all-time list. He has two this season, leaving him two behind New Jersey's Martin Brodeur for 10th.

Brodeur's former teammate, Joe Nieuwendyk, gave Belfour all the support he needed with a power-play goal late in the first period. He scored another 7 1/2 minutes into the third for his first multi-goal game with Toronto.

Tucker scored goals 28 seconds apart later in the third to pad the lead. The tallies gave him four in his last five games.
