Prusek started on Monday night as Patrick Lalime sat out with a fever and stopped 31 shots in a 4-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers. With Lalime still sidelined, he got another chance against the Panthers and was perfect for the first time in 26 career games.

Chara opened the scoring just 1:47 into the game and assisted on goals by Daniel Alfredsson and Jason Spezza in the second period. It was his first three-point game since Nov. 12, 2002.

Martin Havlat also scored for the Senators, who recorded a season-high 43 shots en route to their sixth consecutive road victory against the Panthers.
