PITTSBURGH, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- For the second time in three days, 22nd-ranked Pittsburgh defeated an in-state rival Wednesday night, downing Robert Morris, 75-61.

Pittsburgh (3-0) won its 23rd straight home game Monday night, beating St. Francis for the 27th time in as many meetings. Robert Morris (0-2) put up a better fight, but the Panthers improved to 23-0 all-time against the Colonials.

The good times should continue after the holiday for Pittsburgh, which hosts Albany on Saturday. The easy triumphs have eased the transition for new coach Jamie Dixon, who has his team within three victories of matching the longest home winning streak in school history.

Chaz McCrommon led Robert Morris with 18 points and seven rebounds.
