COL BKB: Oklahoma 81, Tulsa 73

NORMAN, Okla., Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Jaison Williams continued strong play off the bench with 16 points and freshman Lawrence McKenzie added 13 Tuesday as No. 13 Oklahoma edged Tulsa, 81-73.

Williams, a junior college transfer who was averaging 8.0 points and 6.5 rebounds through the Sooners' first two games, stepped up with a clutch effort. He had 11 points in the first half, when Oklahoma (3-0) built an early lead.

Tulsa (1-1) was in the contest throughout. Jason Parker led the Golden Hurricane with 20 points and Jarius Glenn added 15.
