Martin Nance had two touchdown receptions for the RedHawks (10-1, 7-0 Mid-American Conference East), who produced the most points by either team in the 80-game series.

The RedHawks already had clinched the division and visit the winner of next week's Bowling Green-Toledo contest in the conference championship game on Dec. 4.

Roethlisberger, who surpassed his own single-season school records in total offense, passing yards and completions in the contest, gave Miami the lead for good on a 34-yard pass to Nance that opened the scoring just 1:48 into the contest.
