COL FB: Bowling Green 41, Ball State 14

MUNCIE, Ind., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Josh Harris threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran for two more scores Saturday afternoon as No. 25 Bowling Green thumped Ball State, 41-14.

B.J. Lane ran for 109 yards on just six carries for Bowling Green (9-2, 6-1 MAC West), which hosts Toledo next week for a berth in the conference title game. The winner faces No. 19 Miami of Ohio, which beat the Falcons on Nov. 4.

Bowling Green, which held a two-touchdown lead at the break, was clinging to a 21-14 advantage before P.J. Pope ran 39 yards for a score with 10:26 left. Harris added a two-yard scoring run less than three minutes later, and Raishaun Stover made it 41-14 with a seven-yard run with 4:39 to play.

Scott Blair scored on runs of 42 and three yards for the Cardinals (4-8, 3-5), who lost their fourth straight game.
