ORCHARD PARK, N.Y., Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Andre Johnson scored the only touchdown of the game Sunday on a 46-yard pass from Tony Banks as Houston beat the Buffalo Bills, 12-10.

On the touchdown in the second quarter, the Bills (4-6) could have taken Johnson down, but cornerback Nate Clements and linebacker London Fletcher failed to complete their attempted tackles.

Kris Brown added a pair of field goals for the Texans (4-6), whose defense did the rest in adding to the offensive woes of the Bills. Buffalo has gone three straight games without a touchdown.

Rian Lindell kicked two field goals, but also missed a pair for the Bills.

Banks, the backup, came into the game in the first quarter after Houston starting quarterback David Carr bruised his right shoulder. Carr was injured when he was taken down by linebacker Jeff Posey in the end zone and fumbled for a safety.
