NHL: Detroit 1, Minnesota 1 (OT)

ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Steve Yzerman scored with 7:42 left in the third period Saturday as the Detroit Red Wings rallied for a 1-1 tie with the Minnesota Wild.

Detroit squandered third-period leads in two of its previous four games, including Friday's 4-3 overtime win at Chicago. Trailing 1-0, the Red Wings earned a point thanks to Yzerman who has three goals in his last three games.
