BOISE, Idaho, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Ryan Dinwiddie threw for two touchdowns and ran for another Saturday as No. 23 Boise State routed Texas-El Paso, 51-21, for their seventh straight win.
David Mikell had 18 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown for Boise State (9-1), which had not played since routing Brigham Young, 50-12, on Oct. 30, 50-12.
The Broncos jumped all over the Miners, opening up a 21-0 advantage in less than 10 minutes. Lee Marks scored on a 13-yard run 3:59 into the contest, Mikell added a 16-yard TD 96 seconds later and Donny Heck tacked on a two-yard run with 5:14 left in the quarter.
Dinwiddie completed 13-of-22 passes for 198 yards without an interception and ran three times for 40 yards.
Jordan Palmer went 14-of-28 for 172 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for the Miners (2-9).
