NBA: Portland 104, Cleveland 85

PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Zach Randolph had 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting and 13 rebounds Saturday night as Portland slammed Cleveland, 104-85.

It was the Cavaliers' 24th consecutive road loss.

Jeff McInnis scored 15 points, Damon Stoudamire added 14, and Qyntel Woods 13 for the Trail Blazers, who were surprised by Utah in their season opener on Wednesday.

LeBron James, the 18-year-old rookie phenom, struggled for the first time, scoring just eight points on 3-of-12 shooting. He also had six assists and four rebounds.

James had 46 points, 18 rebounds, and 17 assists in his first two NBA contests.

The Blazers saw a 15-point halftime lead cut to 74-67 on a jumper by James with 1:37 left in the third, but scored the final basket of the period and opened the fourth on a 16-2 run to put away the game.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 21 points, Ricky Davis added 16, and Carlos Boozer 15 for Cleveland, which has not won on the road since an 87-79 win at Seattle on Jan. 12.
