NFL: Tennessee 30, Jacksonville 17

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Eddie George ran for 88 yards and two touchdowns Sunday afternoon as the Tennessee Titans blasted Jacksonville, 30-17.

George recorded the first of his two one-yard scoring runs in the first quarter shortly after defensive end Robaire Smith intercepted a pass by Byron Leftwich.

The Jaguars' rookie quarterback went 15-of-27 for 158 yards and had one touchdown pass, but had three passes intercepted for the second week in a row and was replaced by backup David Garrard late in the contest.

The Titans lost veteran defensive end Jevon Kearse to an ankle injury after a collision with Leftwich in the second quarter.

Tennessee now is 6-2, while the Jaguars fell to 1-6.
