SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 26 (UPI) -- A goal by Jamil Walker in the 80th minute Saturday night gave San Jose a 1-1 tie with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Walker's goal ended his team's record drought at 402 minutes.

The season finale for both teams also was a playoff preview. The Earthquakes and Galaxy will meet Saturday in Los Angeles in the opener of the two-game aggregate Western Conference semifinals.

San Jose (14-7-9, 51 points) finished atop the conference and will have home-field advantage for the first two rounds of the postseason.

Los Angeles (9-12-9, 36 points) finished fourth.
