WEST LAFEYETTE, Ind., Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Jerod Void rushed for four touchdowns Saturday as 23rd-ranked Purdue extended its winning streak to four games with a 43-10 Big 10 victory over Illinois.

Void rushed for 119 yards on 25 carries as Coach Joe Tiller picked up his 50th victory at Purdue.

Void had three short TD runs that helped the Boilermakers (4-1) turn the game into a rout by halftime. The sophomore had TD runs of two and four yards in the first quarter and added a five-yard TD with just under six minutes remaining in the half, which built a 27-3 lead.

Kyle Orton of Purdue completed 13-of-19 passes for 209 yards. Illinois (1-5) lost its fourth straight game and suffered its most lopsided defeat of the season.
