Dillon won't play against Bills

CINCINNATI, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Running back Corey Dillon has been ruled out of Cincinnati's game Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Dillon has been hampered by a painful groin strain. He aggravated the injury in the first half of last Sunday's 21-14 victory over Cleveland.

"We'll give him a chance to rest this week and through the bye, and we'll try to get him back for Baltimore," said Coach Marvin Lewis.

Dillon suffered the injury the week before against Pittsburgh.

"It wasn't feeling good and I'm going to need some time to get that thing healthy so I can contribute to this team," Dillon told the Cincinnati Post. "Until then, I'm pretty much on the shelf."

In four games this season, Dillon has 164 yards on 44 carries and one touchdown.

The Bengals play the Ravens on Oct. 19.
