Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
SAN DIEGO, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Charles Johnson, Greg Norton and Jay Payton homered in a five-run seventh Sunday as the Colorado Rockies held on for a 10-8 victory over the San Diego Padres.
Juan Uribe also homered for the Rockies, who closed with back-to-back wins for a 74-88 record - a one-game improvement over last season.
